Give Your Time to Packard Health

We appreciate our volunteers for the time, effort, creativity and passion they give to Packard Health. We currently have limited volunteer positions available.
Current Volunteer Positions
Patient Advisory Committee (PAC)

Purpose and Goals
- Put patients first – Advocate for policies and practices that prioritize patient needs, safety, and satisfaction.
- Build better relationships – Improve communication and build trust between patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Make information more accessible – Ensure patients and families have the resources they need to make confident healthcare decisions.
- Connect patients and community – Bridge the gap between patients, the broader community, and clinical teams to make sure every voice is heard.
Who Should Apply?
You must be a current Packard Health patient, but you don’t need any other special qualifications beyond a willingness to share your experiences and help others receive better care.
Being a patient advisor might be a great fit if you can:
- Share openly – Talk about both positive and negative experiences and offer ideas for improvement.
- Think beyond yourself – Consider the bigger picture and how your insights can help a wide range of patients.
- Listen and respect others – Engage thoughtfully with different perspectives, even when you disagree.
- Work well with others – Collaborate with people from a variety of backgrounds with a positive, open attitude.
- Be trustworthy – Keep anything you hear in your advisor role private and confidential.
We’re especially looking for people who reflect the diversity of our community — across backgrounds, experiences, cultures, and care journeys. Whether your experiences with Packard Health have been positive, challenging, or both, your voice matters here.
